1. Information we collect from you
To complete your order, you must provide us with certain minimum information (which you authorized our pop-up store to provide to us), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment details, and the specifics of the products that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with any other personal information if you wish to do so.
2. Why we need this information and how we always use it
We rely on certain legal bases, including our internal Terms & Conditions to collect, use, process and share your information, including:
- when needed to deliver our services, for instance when we fulfil your order, when we provide our customer support or when we have to settle any disputes;
- when you have accepted our invitation, which you may revoke at any time, to sign up for our mailing list;
- when, if necessary, to comply with a legal obligation, court order or legal claim, like retaining information about your purchases if required by a tax office in your country.
3. Disclosure and Sharing of your information
Information about our customers is important to us. We share your personal information only for limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Within our pop-up store, we share all information about our customers, as part of our intent to introduce all relevant products.
We contract certain trusted external parties to perform certain functions and provide some services for our pop-up store, such as delivery companies. We share your basic personal information with these external parties, but only to the extent necessary for them to fulfil their obligations.
Compliance with laws
We may use and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (1) respond to legal process or to government requests; (2) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (3) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other activity, security, or technical issues; or (4) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers and/or our partners.
4. Data Retention
5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
We may share your information, if necessary, with third-party service providers, such as payments and deliveries, in other jurisdictions outside of the EU with different data protection and government surveillance laws.
6. Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. We describe these rights below:
You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete
You have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances, like where we are required to store data for legal reasons, we will generally delete your personal information upon your request.
You can object to (1) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (2) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information, and without prejudice to any other rights you may have, you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
